I decided to get out of my “I’m rusty” mode, and actually try drawing something different for my first picture of the year. Drawing two people is always a small challenge, but in this case the bigger hurdle was getting the angle of they guy correct as I rarely draw the back of people and this is my first time drawing people sitting at a table. Overall, I’m pleased with how it came out, although there’s a few minor perspective issues and it took much longer to draw (3 hours) than I would have liked. Color might also help set the romantic dinner mood
