I didn't really do too much research, and wish I had. It is a good TV, but my main regret is that it has burn-in issues, so when watching standard definition tv, I either have to scale the image, or watch it with ugly gray bars on the side. Also, it isn't good to use my computer with it. My advice is to make sure you don't have that problem with yours, even if it costs extra money. Seriously, they are the closest, and seem like they have the most senseis. The good thing is that there are several dojo's within a 45 minute radius of here, and they all practice on different nights, so I could conceivably practive every day!
