I got a Mitsubishi WS-55315, mainly because it was the right price over labor day weekend. I didn't really do too much research, and wish I had. It is a good TV, but my main regret is that it has burn-in issues, so when watching standard definition tv, I either have to scale the image, or watch it with ugly gray bars on the side. Also, it isn't good to use my computer with it. My advice is to make sure you don't have that problem with yours, even if it costs extra money.

Don't be too lazy to research, otherwise you'll regret it.

What kind of TV did you buy? I've been looking at getting one myself but I'm too lazy to research.

I haven't decided yet, but it will probably be the San Jose Dojo, since their website rules :-). Seriously, they are the closest, and seem like they have the most senseis. The good thing is that there are several dojo's within a 45 minute radius of here, and they all practice on different nights, so I could conceivably practive every day!

Wow, its so awesome to hear that life in Cali is going so well for you. ^_^ I'm happy to hear that there are new things to discover every single day. I'm curious, have you deicided which dojo you will join after you get your armour?

And I think senior citizen kendo is an awesome idea. They should have it at nursing homes. :P
